Getting into the Halloween Spirit
Posted On 10/22/2020 15:21:26 by WritterDeb

I have been thinking about Halloween and how everyone
will or will not be celebrating this year.
I have seen on the news where people are making small bags of candy and planning to pass them out the door with a long poll
or something.

That one cracked me up.  I could see someone making
a long skelton arm and creepy hand
to slowly pass the bags out the door!

Some said they were putting out a big kettle to look like a caldron
and kis could reach in and pull our a bag of candy.
I'm not sure I would trust the kids to pull out only one bag each.
One neighbor told me she was bagging up the candy and putting it out on her poarch with a sign that says,
"Only One Please
and when it's gone it's gone."

I gave some bags of candy to my church as they are having
a Trunk or Treat in the parking lot.
As for me, I think I might just turn the lights out and
pretend I'm not here, LOL.

While thinking upon these things I  sat here at the computer and made several graphics.  One of the fun things I like to do.
Soooo, I decided to share one with my fellow Hill members.

Here's hoping you have a great Halloween no matter
how you celebrate it, or not!

I enjoyed your blog... and your graphic! I'm not much of a fan of Halloween, probably because we are a family of all adults now. In addition, our house is well hidden, and there are very few children in our neighborhood. To save driving, the community families get together for a party in the Community Hall. I usually buy a few treats, in case someone shows up, but I buy something that is a favorite, especially to my 'best friend' and husband!

Have lots of fun... wherever you are!

super cute, Debbie, thank  you! There's a way to do Halloween safely for the kids who want to participate. I hope as many as possible have fun on that special night as they look forward to it the whole year. I saw a suggestion that people set up a table in their yard to put the candy on, only setting out enough at one time for the trick or treaters who are there.  I've got goodies ready for the little ones. Now if someone will just hide the Reese's from ME.

Thanks for sharing this  creepy graphic  Debbie.

In the Philiipines,  everyone house in our subdivision prepared a bag of candies for trict and treat.  Chlldren wore different scary make ups and customes,  but this month no children allowed to go out of the street to avoid from the virus.  We decided to eat rice cake we usually prepared during this Halloween. :)
