How to edit your page

Few of you have asked me about how to edit your page here.  I have decided to create a tutorial.  My personal opinion is that it's somuch easier to follow a visual tutorial to learn new tricks.

So I am going to try to explain this with few pictures.

1. Go to MY ACCOUNT that will open up the MAIN acct page

2. Go to SETTINGS

3. Go to DESIGN MY PROFILE

4. Here is the preview of the Design page.  I've numbered all items.

5. To change the colors, you will need to click on the "Select Colors" link that will open a Color Selector window.  If you have more experience and know the codes for the colors you can just type it in the little box besides the items, but remember to type in the # or the code color code will not work.

6. Here is a picture of my page with the numbered items.  The arrows will show you what areas are the numbers related to.

I hope this little visual presentation will help you to customize your page colors the way you like it.

If you don't like the way your page turned out, no worries, just click on the "RESET the original page settings" and start over.

When changing the background to a different picture, I go back to my page and the old background is still there. I cannot get it to change. Can you help? Thanks

It seems when I choose another background it never changes no matter how many times I tried.

Thank you so much.  This is so helpful.  I've used this tutorial about a year or so ago when I first joined up. I'm so pleased I found it again, as I could not remember where it was. This time I am going to "bookmark" the page for future references.

Thanks this is brilliant, makes life a lot easier for me, I always struggle with changing the colours because I can never fiqure out what's what.

If the color picker gives youa java error, I belive that you will need to update your Java

I wa getting thouroughly confused as how to change my profiel settings, a firnd advised me to visit this page=am i glad I took her advise-it all seems so straight forward so now I am gouing to try it out=I'll take your advise=if i dont like what I have done=just re-set it and it will go back=anything is worth  try, thanks for taking time to do this tutorial, i am sure it will help!! whizzkid.
