I enjoy action movies and loved the latest Die Hard movie. Of course romantic and comedy ones are on my list. Hallmark movies are always great to watch. When I visited my daughter in the U.S.A. we watched reruns of Little House on the Prarie.

It's probably easier to mention the music that I DON'T like which is anything that's too loud or repetitive as in heavy rock or rap. It gives me a headache.

I haven't read a novel in ages. I mostly read short stories.

I love all colours. I like to wear white or brights and am drawn to vibrant colours in anything. I love pink or yellow roses.

I'm not too fussy when it comes to food either. However as I've been diagonsed with type 2 diabetes last year I'm learning a whole new way to prepare food. I love to make good ole home made soups. I like to cook and will try anything new.

My daughter has become a US citizen last year. I am going over to live with her and my son-in-law and she had to become a citizen to sponsor me. A couple of the other nominees (90 in all) were surprised that she as an Australian would want to become a US citizen when she already comes from such a great country. She has lived in America for the past 5 years. But this is the only way I can go live with them permanently. I love Australia, but there is nothing here for me without my daughter. So CONGRATULATIONS to her on her citizenship.

I just turned 61 last week. I have been married twice and widowed twice. My only child is married to a US navy serviceman and lives in Washington state. I do not have any grandchildren yet. I live alone with my two cats, Bailey, a white Chinchilla, and my gorgeous Himilayan Griffin.

I am a creative person so I like anything to do with the arts. I enjoy live theatre and was involved in the back stage makeup many, many years ago. I like to fiddle with anything crafty and with winter upon us I'm into my knitting again.I have also written poetry in the past.

I don't like rude people, cruelty to animals, man's inhumanity to man.

I'm not very sports minded but I do like to walk.
I love dancing but haven't been for a long time.
I have 2 persian cats who keep me company. They probably come under the heading of family. But I do love cats and have always had one.



I keep my mind active by doing puzzles: in fact that's what initially drew me to this site.
I enjoy knitting and I do wedding dress alterations. I had a bridal shop but closed it to work from home when my husband was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Generally, most things interest me.
