Do I have to pick one? I guess it would be Blue, second runner up would be Lavender.

Mexican, Italian, a good steak. If I'm working anything that is warm and I can eat without interruption.

Haven't been reading a lot lately, but do enjoy true crime (yes, I know), John Grisham some Stephen King

RedondoPat1955, the one who introduced me to the Hill

Busy, Busy, Busy, but I haven't disappeared, just slow to respond.

I was born in Oklahoma City, OK, but raised in Southern California from the time I was 5, in Redondo Beach from the time I was 8.

I have been married to my husband Bob since 1988 and we have four girls between the two of us and five beautiful grandchildren. We left the city life behind in 1998 and now live on 40 acres in the "holler". We have three dogs, one cat, and four goats. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined this for me, but I do love where I live, which is 6 miles east of a town of 2,000 and another 1 1/2 down a tree lined dirt road.

Small town life is my norm now, until I talk to friends from California. I have gotten used to things like renting your videos/dvd's from the Laundromat or dropping off your dry cleaning at the local florist. I no longer think it's strange when people ask how late the police department is open.

I work full time as a Police/Fire/Ems dispatcher, mostly over night shifts.

My Husband and I are both suckers for animals. He blames most of it on me.

Spending time with my family, grand kids are so much fun.Good friends and genuine people.

Lazy Sunday mornings at home before work.

Rude people, hypocrites, and did I mention rude people. Snobs, know it all's and arrogant people.

Sometimes I think my biggest hobby is sleeping!

Quilting is a hobby I used to do, but haven't in a long time.

Hello my friend, I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I am alive and well.  Things have been kind of hectic here lately with the transitioning of the new company into our new home at work.  This began the middle of February and we have just completed the moving part a week ago today.  Now all we have to do is work out the bugs of the new networks (both computer and phones) and figure out where we put everything!  So far everything is going well.  We were able to make the move and still make and repair product and ship the product to our customers.

Yesterday, I had an appointment at the VA Hospital in Manchester, NH to have an eye exam as I am noticing some changes in my vision.  I will be getting a new prescription to include trifocals so that I can stop tilting my head up or down to clearly see the computer screen!  I also told them that I was having problems at night time with the glare of headlights of other vehicles.  Hopefully the anti-glare coating will take care of that.  While I was there, I had to have a couple of prescriptions renewed and also got both the regular flu shot as well as the H1N1 shot.  I seem to be dragging a bit today and feeling stiff all over.

Please accept my apologies for not being on the Hill as much as what I used to be.  Working 10 hour days does have a habit of taking its toll on a person.  I wish everyone a very Happy St. Patrick's Day and Smileycons!Smileycons!Smileycons!Smileycons!
