I'm Native American...one half Comanche, 1/32 Iroquois or Cherokee (depending on which family member you're talking to), and the rest is Scot/Irish/and a slew of other ancestry. I'm originally from Indiana. I have 5 kids (2 natural, 3 step kids), 11 grand-brats (heehee), and 4 great-grandkids (one was just born on 5/6). My hubby and I are members of the Christian Motorcyclists Assoc. but are currently without bikes (he's a long haul trucker and on the road so much we really don't have time to ride). I spent 2 years on the road with hubby in his truck. I'm now 'grounded' due to having 2 back surgeries...so no riding bikes or in the big truck. I am currently on the Board of Directors for a shelter that gives a hand-up to abused, abandoned, and homeless women and kids. I attend a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF)group. I have 2 cats that keep me company and are a never ending source of comedy.

Reading, genealogy, antique stores/shows (I collect salt cellars/dips/open salts..depending on what part of the country you're from). Also crochet lap blankets for the elderly in nursing homes.
