I love to read, mainly mystery and fantasy, but enjoy a good love story from time to time.

My favorite colors are all shades of purple, pinks, and aqua/turquoise colors.

I've been married to the same man for 37 years and we have two children, a beautiful daughter and a handsome son. We also have 5 grandchildren, 2 girls and three boys, ranging from 16 down to 4 years in age. I adore animals and we currently have two cocker spaniels, three outside cats (feral initially), an African Grey and a pineapple conure parrot.

I love my family to include most of my in-laws. I totally enjoy quiet times with no telephone, kids crying or fighting, or hubby talking non-stop to me. I love my oldest grandson hugging me from behind and telling me he loves me and my oldest grand daughter hugging and kissing me and telling me she loves me in PUBLIC! I LOVE being retired!

I don't like whining, spoiled children; people telling lies; and I don't like stealing.

I also don't like asparagras and any kind of orange squash.

I love to read. I try to garden when the weather and bugs aren't too bad and I love to play games on my computer. When I have the time and the ingredients, I like trying new recipies.
