Not going, not coming, Rooted, deep and still. Not reaching out, not reaching in. Just resting. At the center, A single jewel, the flawless crystal drop. In the blaze of it's brilliance is The Way Beyond.

A mixture of sound and silence
Artistic release in time, the essence
Alluring beauty avowedly delivered
At best, music is simply divine!
Good music moves our hearts
Great music cleanses our minds
Grand music uplifts our spirits
Gracious music indeed excels
Mundane worries consigned away
Music keeps the masses enthralled
Mystic saints’ melodious music
Mesmerized even the Gods!
Mellowed cow milks more & more
Music to ears turns it a philanthropist
Music therapy to the miserable
Manifests in salvation- a revelation
Melody transforming the audience
Music equates earth with heaven
Mesmerized souls with moist eyes
Muse over the theme time and again
Music can bring about rain
Music can unshackle the mind
Music can well alleviate pain
Music is simply divine!

When I think of my favorite color I am transported to a magical lush green meadow blazing with all purple flowers. I decide to lay down and rest in a comfortable fragrant spot between Bearded Irises, Tulips of many shades, Lilac bushes, Hydrangeas with light and dark shades of all purples and pinks, Violets, lavender roses and full sphere Dahlias. God must have made this garden just for me because there are a few of my favorite yellow flowers blooming in between all the shades of lavender, light and deep purple hues: Daffodils the color of butter, bright canary yellow lilies and grand towering sunflowers. Butterflies of every species abound, but I particularly notice the Swallowtails and the Monarchs adding more yellow and also white and orange markings to my meadow canvas. The following butterflies go flitting by looking more lavender than blue to me: Acmon Blues, Spring Azures (or Echo Blues) Western Tailed Blues and Paralis Blues (or Mission Blues) all found in California. There are magenta Butterfly Bushes, Heliotrope, Statice, Asters and endless luscious Lavender plants to supply the nectar craved by the butterflies. As I rest my head on a cushion of rich green moss I spot a pair of Black-chinned Hummingbirds, which have black throats and purple colors with green above and on the sides and white bellies. I hear a full stream running along the edge of purple capped mountains and I realize that I have never felt such an awesome sense of well-being as I am feeling now. I am completely comfortable, content and at peace; I never want to leave this place.

No Destination In Mind
Wandering happily in the mud
No destination in mind.
After all, the darkness renders
This fool blind and ignorant.
Too childish to know even
What I want today,
Much less two weeks from now.
So now I play.
With words and breath.
Nothing to accomplish in this
Seashore life of sand and storm.
A lifetime of building sand castles,
A single storm levels the field.
All victories fade to...
Well, who knows really.
Words fall to the page,
I am not responsible at all.
Words a game of mind
Life a play of awareness.
A game, a play, a bubble of joy.
A moment before the sun rises
A day on the beach with friends.
Enjoy the light and beauty.
The sweetness is in the fleetingness.
Even this direct experience here-now
Is completely unknowable!
How funny to be struck so ignorant
That color and form are ungraspable.
Is there enough opinion to form
An "I" separate from this eye?
Who knows, who knows, who indeed?
Just a play of words
Pay me no mind, no mind.
The thoughts float aimlessly
Without purpose or reason.
No deep truths here
Only a shallow game and
Muddy footprints across the screen.
Enjoy the day and dancing in the light.

THE BRIDGE OF COMPASSION
Compassion becomes a bridge to the world outside. Trust and compassion for oneself bring inspiration to dance with life, to communicate with the energies of the world. Lacking this kind of inspiration and openness, the spiritual path becomes the path of desire. One remains trapped in the desire to improve oneself, the desire to achieve imagined goals.... Compassion automatically invites you to relate with people, because you no longer regard people as a drain on your energy. They recharge your energy, because in the process of relating with them, you acknowledge your wealth, your richness. So if you have difficult tasks to perform, such as dealing with people or life situations, you do not feel you are running out of resources. Each time you are faced with a difficult task, it presents itself as a delightful opportunity to demonstrate your richness, your wealth. There is no feeling of poverty at all in this approach to life.
