Some web sites you can look at while I work out a way to post my pictures.. These sites I have picked at random when searching from google browser. First I knew that Rosella grew wild in North Qld & still looking re where they originated.  It is a pretty bush from the Hybiscus family, I have been told.  You can eat Hybiscus flowers, so go to reason, we  enjoy the Rosella.

Tested & true 4..06..2008



Ingredients



500 grams rosella fruits, seeded


Keep seeds…


250g (a1 cup) white sugar


1 lemon cut in quarters


Water enough to cover seeds & quartered  lemon


 



Cooking Instructions



Cover the seeds & Lemon in large saucepan & simmer until tender.


Strain through large sive into saucepan & add the red husks


Then simmer for 45 minutes or until tender.


Add same amount of sugar, you can measure with a cup.


Cook until it sets on a spoon/plate.


Bottle & allow to cool.


{pour into hot, sterilized jars, seal when cold}
