The picture I put on my profile page has a transparent background, but that picture which appears on other pages has a black background.  I don't understand what causes them to be different, or how I can make them all with a transparent background.  Any ideas?

Where are you seeing the black background? When I look at your page and then your tabs like gallery, etc. I still see your blue background.

I don't know if this is the place to reply to KaysWay.  There is both a "Post Reply" and a "Quick Reply".  Anyway my question was:

   The black background for my question is on this forum page where I am also reading KaysWay's question.  Hope this helps solve the mystery.  Maybe its just a problem on my computer.

As far as I know you ONLY have control over what YOUR PAGE background looks like. When I look at the backgroun on this "Forum" page, it is kind of a gray color.

Hi Overplus, you find this happens with some Gifs that are transparent, some tend to have a black background on some postings.  I have noticed a number of them on here like that.

I see yours is black also.

That happened to me with my first profile picture.  I just found several other graphics to use and replaced my first one.
