It was a lovely, clear, sunny day today and I wanted to go out with my dogs and camera and walk a bit.  It warmed up a bit and melted quite a bit of snow a few days ago, so I thought walking might be a bit easier than it has been.  Unfortunately, I did not dress for the weather, so we were only out for about 15 minutes.  I can handle 18 degrees, but the wind was really whipping, so we came back home.  Next week I am going to go out with my dogs, my son, and his dog for our yearly February vacation excursion.  We get into the car and explore wherever we feel like and take the dogs for a walk and romp.  We also then have a nice lunch out.  I just have to go whenever his day off from work is.  It's nice that my adult children still make time to do stuff with Mom.

That's the best kind of vacations. Hit the road and just explore. Love it. Looking forward to your stories and photos.

Well, our excursion got cancelled.    My son only had one day he could go and he got up too late and the day was not very nice anyway......far too cold, gray, and windy to waste any gas.  Hopefully we'll get another chance soon.  The weather has to get better pretty soon.  Not tomorrow though....storm on the way again.
