THANK YOU  YourChoice & Altara for your kind & quick response to my plea for help.  And yes, Gil, it was a webfitti problem.  Several months back, I saw a webfitti ad on the NOTH page.  I innocently (naively) thought that any ad that appeared on the NOTH page was ok, clean, free to click on.  So I had actually downloaded some stuff from the webfitti page. BIG MISTAKE!   It took a few weeks (& a bit of reading) for me to realize that this was NOT something I wanted on my pc.  I did uninstall it all but, obviously, it didn't all go away.   Ever since the appearance of that garbage on my postings, I've shied away from participating.   Now I'm FREE to post.  YIPPEE!
