Finally, spring is here! I've been taking the dogs out back up the trails, which are in good shape except for one very wet and muddy spot.
Last week when I visited my son and daughter in law we took a lovely walk along the feeder canal of the Hudson River. (Note the critter in the picture.)
Yesterday was a day long excursion out to a state park on Lake Champlain. There are many trails through the park and a lovely beach. I only go off season so I can take the dogs. It was quite chilly (low 40s and windy) but a spectacular sunny day. It was also the first swim of the season for the dogs. There were extremely excited!
