You need to set some of the sections in Design My Profile to transparent.  (My Account, Settings tab, Design My Profile).  I have the following sections set to transparent:  Background Main, Main Item Background, Main Item Border, Comment Background.  To set to transparent all you do is click on 'Select Color' and then 'Make Item Transparent'.  You might have to be selective about these changes as you will still want to be able to read things and it will all depend upon what your background looks like.  Don't forget to click Save button and upon returning to your page, hit the F5 keyboard button to refresh.

What I notice is that your font is the wrong color for that background. Make it say white and Bold and it should show up. If you need to know how to make it bold. all that you do is put>b< words >/b<  you need to turn the < just the opposite from what they are in this. There is also an HTML primer in the Help Link. thank you for setting it so that all of the friends can meet you. Stop by and see me sometime.
