Have felt the feelings of being all alone in a crowd.Cancer does that to some of us. So many other sites have a policy to keep yur blogs/comments to their liking. So if you ever have a day that you didn't feel like being perky or saying the right thing, you really have no outlet for that.  I hope that' s whatcan be offered here. The freedom of being able to speak freely. Cancer is a disease that trips you down to your core an modesty is checked at the door. You can make it out the other side , but be prepared for the fight of your life.

I am now past the 5 year point after treatment.I am glad to still be here.On diagnosis my cancer had spread to my lymph nodes already. With that I must forever wonder if that one cell escaped and has set up shop into another organ just waiting for me to let my guard down only to reappear.I am told that breast cancer likes to reappear in the liver, lungs, bones or brain. So every 6 months, then 9 months I have been checked.

I hope some others out there will join this group.Share your feelings, hopes or dreams.Your journey personally , or as a supporter of a loved one or friend. To those that are just at the beginning- I hope I give you some hope that you can do it. I am now 49 years old.I was 43 when diagnosed-Sept. 15th, 2003.SerenaSmileycons!
