Hi, Serena here and this is my first post. I was diagnosed officially 12/1/04 by a well known Rhuematologist who has published books on the subject.Unfortunately he had a terrible " beside manor" for lack of a better term. I was sent to pain management by my chemo. Dr. following my year battle and treatment with Breast cancer with lymph node positive 17. He took offense that I was taking pain meds. in addition to seeking his treatment. I didn't hide the fact.I told him this right away...my 1st mistake. He was a jerk.Enough said on him.
I have been on many different combinations. It seems each Dr. has his or her ideas and some have their own agenda. I have been put on, in the past, everything from nuerontin to various anti-depressants-Cymbalta, Effexor and Zoloft. The muscle relaxers together with fentanyl patch.Vicodin, Tylenol 3 and 4,and last an extended release form of Morphine.
I am curious if anyone has an idea on any of this.Any comments or replies appreciated.
