Nascar is my favorite racing

Wondering if any more members like racing too?If so, we can chat about it here.Didnt really want to start a group but thought maybe a nascar one would be good idea.

I still enjoy Nascar & used to be a huge fan.  But since Dale, Sr. got killed & a lot of the drivers I used to watch have retired, I'm not as faithful as I was.  I do like Kane, tho.

My favorite form of racing is NHRA.  We are members & drag race every weekend possible.  We race a 1969 RoadRunner, a tube chasis 1970 Challenger, and a 1973 Challenger.  We run 440 BB in all cars.  My son, who was 16 at the time, won Division II NHRA Sportsman Championship which was held in Cecil, GA, in Oct 2007.  This afforded him the opportunity to go to Pamona, CA, in Nove 2007 & race in the Winter Nationals for the Sportsman National Championship.  After a 40-hr haul (one way) we had an absolute BALL and were treated like Kings & Queens, Chris finished 3rd in the Nation!  Not too shabby for a 16-yr old kid.  Momma just a wee bit proud!    

We watch it on tv all the time and when our local track reopens,we will go to them there also.I have been to pamona races several times also.Wow that is awesome of your son.I was probably watching then.We watch all racing on tv if not at track.Would have loved to be involved with it.

I have seen members here saying they like racing too so thought maybe we'd get group for it going.At least there is us so far-lolol

My husband and I are total Nascar fans. Watch faithfully every week that we can. Our favorite is Jeff Gordon but big fans of Jimi Johnson and Dale Jr. as well. Have only been to one actual race and it was an Indy race when we were living in Indiana. Wasn't a great experience there due to the seating. You were able to see the cars race by and then just sat and waited for them to appear again. We ended up not even knowing who had won until we went home and watched the news!!! But would love to go to a Nascar race. Into collecting Jeff Gordon stuff. Have quite a large collection. We are also Harley Davidson lovers and both have our own bikes. Collect Harley stuff too. Really beginning to like these new cot cars. We have 2 Monte Carlos so like the fact Jeff drives one. Sad days coming though. We don't have cable or satellite so will be missing a patch of the races unless we can find someone who watches too. My husband's best friend watches but has the same problem as us. Love to watch and talk Nascar.

I also love Harleys.I used to have a  sportster and me boyfriend had a 81-80.Lived in san Diego back then.I was thinking the other day about starting group for Harley fans.Why dont u do that??

I dont know if I like these new cars or not.sure seems hendricks r having troubles with them this yr.
