From time to time I buy pc games from Amazon.com

Yesterday I bought another game and when I went to download it , I got a message saying I needed to download the Amazon games & Software Downloader.  (I already have a little green icon sitting in my right bottom of my computer) but when I followed the steps, the installation, be it reinstalling the game downloader or just downloading the game into my computer.  The error message says:  C:Program Files(x86)AmazonAmazon Games & Software Downloaderuninstunins000.dat   does not exist.  Cannot uninstall.

I thought maybe I might have deleted something unintentionally in the last couple of months so I did a system restore thinking that might help.  It didn't. 

I normally buy most of my games from BigFish but once in a while I see one at Amazon and buy it. 

Anyone have any ideas.  I can't even go to my control panel and try deleting that downloader file and reinstalling it.  What do I do?  Anyone?

Glary utilities also has an uninstaller. I like it much more and ASC Advanced system care. At the time I am using the Free pro trial it is a 30 trial. So far really like it. I downloaded and installed the Revo Uninstaller and, by golly, it worked!  There must have been some part of that Game Downloader that didn't either install or uninstall correctly.  After the Revo software I went to Amazon and started again and everything appears to be downloading just fine.  I now have another question you all might be able to help me with but I will post it as a new question.  thank you all SO much!
