Would it be possible/practicable to have this facility extended please?

We are looking at a map feature so users can see where in the world other users are - it will be optional if we decide to include it here. As far a states, provinces, etc. for the 100+ countries in the world, it would be a huge, expensive project that I don't foresee happening. Anyone who wants to put their country, state, province, city, etc. on their profile can put it there already by typing it in any of the user customizable boxes.

But the map feature looks interesting and we'll continue to look at it and if it looks like something users would enjoy we'll see about implementing it.
