Is there any bungee on this island? You know Kiwis can't go anywhere without needing a bit of daredevil/adventure sport stuff.

I believe those are dangerous because of their tail, if I am not mistaken.

....you're thinking of sting rays janay....manta rays are very graceful, docile and do not have a spike on their tails.......also, contrary to popular and fanciful tales of "riding" a manta while it glides thru the water, it is not a recommended activity as it could harm the creature.......but here on the island, anything is possible...

Well, how about parasail surfboarding?

Inflated boat racing? Jet ski racing?

Rock and waterfall climbing? I don't believe I have seen a cliff adequate to bungee off of safely.

We could rig up a sliding cable across one of the canyons?

We could kayak off of several waterfalls. Also white water rafting.

Some great swells on the westward side of the island.

It would also be easy enough to create some bicycle paths for speed racing too.

Thank you, Radar, for the information about sting rays.  I guess I was confused.

We sure do have a lot of activities that we can do on the island.  Canoing sounds like it would be fun.
