My name is Buddy. I am four months old. I have my own toy box with my own ball, piece of rope, stuffed baby dog, and other really fun things. I am happy all the time. Who wouldn't be! I have a Mommy and Poppy who love me and gives me good food, lots of play time and a warm dry bed.
...but wait, maybe you would like to see how my day went today......
Mommy offered me one of my very favorite things! Rawhide chewies. I worked hard on it while she was in the bathroom running water, and getting out towels, and my hair brush, bath sponge, and bottles with bubbles in them. I should have kept an eye on her but I was too busy with my chewie.
Dang! I should have remembered what it means when I hear Mommy singing "I'm forever blowing bubbles". She's always singing something, but this song usually ends up making me feel like a drowned RAT! Sometime I'll need to tell her BOYS REALLY DON"T LIKE BATHS!
O.K., So now the wet part is over and I'll admit I kind of like the towel dry part. But Mommy, what is that funny little box you are holding in front of your face and...and...what do you mean when you say "Look up here Buddy, and say CHEESE"?
I'm almost dry, Mommy, and you know I love your computer chair. You say you have lots of friends to visit on THE HILL when you sit here but I'm more interested in meeting that mouse you said is on your desk.
Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Mommy said I am dry now and since I was such a good boy during my bath we get to go to the Doggie Park! Sometimes (from my retractible leash, of course) I get to chase robins or silver grey squirrels. And there are sticks to pick up and grass to run on. Sometimes I see human babies on the swings and I jump around and make them laugh! Or sometimes there are other dogs to look at. I even tell the BIG boys on skate boards to keep moving on (I bark), that's how I take care of Mommy! Oooooh, I love the park.
We are back home from the Doggie Park now. It feels so good to be alive! Let's see, I got chewies, had a bath (well, that wasn't ALL bad) got to go to the park and was fed my favorite puppy food when I got home. I would tell you more about my day but all of a sudden I can't seem to keep my eyes op.......z-z-z-z-z-z-z
