What am i doing wrong.  I got my photobucket account, set up an album, loaded the lovely icons to the album, but when I click on the html code and try to add the icons to notoverthehill or smiliecons all I get is the htmlcode.  I must be leaving out a stet or something.  Not that it is improtant, but it is just frustrating that I can't do it.

Many thanks.

ok,in photp bucket under the i-con,you click where it says html

come back to here and in this box at the top right click the html

it'll open up another box,

paste that html code in that box

and hit...update at the bottom left,as I have done

Hi bluebird,  I don't use the html code or the insert/edit image feature.  After my Photobucket page completely loads, I just click on the IMG Code which does a copy, then I come back to comments, message, or editing page and paste it in.  Works for me!

I did it finally!  I was just missing that little html box.  Thank you all so very much.  You are the best!

I have just been trying all your ways of doing the codes and the only one I can get to work for me is direct link. When I put in there is a picture not just the link/no picture. I just put mine in with the TREE and do just fine. Just had to try again to see if instructions were better and it might work but no luck. Just my input. poney1

I use the Direct code and the tree, you can then send your pic to whatever part of your message you want...top, bottom etc, using the Alignment facility.

what ever works for you is what I'd do ,its just easy for me to use the html,so that way if ppl want my i-con's they can right click and have them and not chase me down to ask,if you see it on my page or another, and I don't have it hide..well then Help your self...!!  hygs Bratty

Your way will work WolfLuvR, but you have no idea how much bandwidth another person has used if your copying someone else's graphics.  If they have large graphics or a lot of videos stored in their account, eventually you will get all the little Photobucket boxes saying bandwidth exceeded.  Best to just copy the IMG Code, paste it into the comment or message box (you will only see the code) and then post.  (There is no need to click on the graphic to enlarge it.)  The graphic will be there after the post and if you need to make sure it's there with a message just check your sent message box.

Hi folks-As far as I know the way I post graphics from photobucket to NOTH or elsewhere on the net works. I just left click on the picture I want to post, it brings it up to a larger picture, then I right click on that, do a "copy", then go to the comments in NOTH and "paste" it. Then if I want to add another picture to the same guestbook, I just go back to photobucket, chose another graphic and do the same. One can also put a message in there as well, either before or after posting the graphics/pictures. For me, this is way faster and easier to add graphics/pictures to anyone's page/comments. Just a FYI for another way to put pictures on comment boards, or into personal messages too. Have a great day!
