Hi Aprilrose,
Here's a copy of an e-mail that PollyM sent to me. As you can
see, she'd like to have it inserted somewhere on this site and at the end asked
me to do it but I have no idea of how to do that. I was wondering if you'd be
so kind as to do it as it's really interesting to watch. I'll let her know that
I've forwarded it to you and asked that you do it. I know I'm presuming that
you will but I don't think you have anything other than a kind bone in your
body. But don't feel that you have to - if you prefer not to, just let me know
and I'll in turn let her know. Or you can if you want - She's pollyM on this
site.
Her e-mail message to me:
Here's a video to look at
http://www.brightcove.tv/title.jsp?title=1438490562 it's of El Chorro
(Malaga's lake District) and its 3 artificial lakes with the walk El Camino
del Rey – the walker walks the spectacular and dangerous cliff path walk
built around 1901 and it's falling apart and treacherous as you will see.
Its actually prohibited to walk on it and you will see why. If you haven't
been to the beautiful Antequera region you need to go. Look it up on google
for loads of information.
Just an excerpt I wrote for a local magazine I do a computer page for but
it's worth a look if you have broadband speeds
I have been there but not done the walk but plenty have

BarbB - Is it possible to post this on the Bulletin or in a Blog? And can
you do it because I don't know how. It is an amazing video of a walk in
the Antequera here in Spain. Anyway, just watch it! P.

That was a beautiful film, but, umm, height and me don't get along too well, so, I'd have to pass up an invite to hike the stairway to paradise.

Beautiful scenery, but nerve-wracking to watch! I can't imagine walking it myself, and the photographer did it with a steady camera, amazing!!!

I remember when we climb the mountain where we have to hold on a rope to transfer to the other side where you will only tip toe and walk sideways facing the wall. Don’t turn your head back to look down because it’s a very, very steep cliff and one wrong step and you’ll dead. But I feel great and relieved when we all get to the other end still intact - that was in 1996
thanks and have a nice day!

Okay, I know I'm not going to fall off my chair, so I watched this knowing full well that I suffer from acrophobia. What a beautiful video. My palms are sweaty, my heart is pounding, and I now have to excuse myself to head for the powder room.........
