It didn't bother me having a black background until I posted my Tea Party.png image, with a drop shadow below. Pinky had not opted for the transparent background with her .png and I could see hers fine.

My problem ... I've forgotten where to change my background back to white.

Help!

Thank you for posting but the background on my actual page isn't the problem ... it's when I post messages, all of my backgrounds are black.

I've changed it before but I've just forgotten where. lol

I'm heading for bed ... an early night tonigh. lol

Hi dear one,

I was having a problem seeing Eva's page properly one time...she was seeing her page or words with black while I was seeing them in BLUE!   I finally settled the issue by going to My Account/Themes/ and setting the page to MAIN.  I had it on Konsort.  Then I could see them as she had her page set for, BLACK. 

I found it really made a difference in what I had it set at.

Pam I see you got it fixed...... My roadrunner was off all day so couldn't post earlier but I see Barbara pointed you in right direction....

 This would been my answer.... To change back to white you probably needed to go to My Account and Themes. See how you have it set.. Bet you have it set Digital Orange which uses lot of black... try changing it to Main...... I remember reading somewhere that if lot changes are going be made to a page a person needs use the Main setting.... Wish I could remember where I read that.....  I remember playing around with lot the different color themes...

Eva, it was set to Digital Orange ... I liked the black initially, but was not happy when I couldn't see 'that misted shadow.'   lol

Do hope you don't have any more Roadrunner problems and that you're well.

This is really a test to see if this added reply makes this topic jump to top of list.........

Eva, would you believe, I have changed it back to Black ... after all that drama, I now remember why I changed it to black in the first place.
When I have Themes set to Main, I end up with a 1px side border and the squares before My Details etc are bright Green on my main Page.

With Digital Orange - no side border and the squares are white.

Just a personal preference thing for My Page and I'll probably change it again tomorrow, now that you've reminded me how. lol
