Welcome all you beaders. I started beading when I was in my 20"s, made some crocheted beads and earrings, strung others and gave to family and for myself. I also made Christmas ornaments which I still have and use. But being rather busy with lots of things, I stopped beading except for adding an ornament or two every few years. Some of my ornaments were beginning to show wear and tear, so I got into doing some new ones again and then started making jewelry again. This time I am learning to do wire work too as well as to make loops, etc. Please visit my gallery on my page if you want to see several of the things I have made. I am trying to relearn crocheting, and it seems harder than I remembered it being before. I still have my old instruction book, so with that and several new books and project instructions from Bead & Button, I am trying to learn anew. Am excited about the group. I know we can all learn from each other and Lyn is the perfect leader for us. Her work is beautiful.

Enjoy your beading!

Hey Frankie,

thanks for the compliment on my work but as to being "the perfect leader"  I don't think so after all the group was your idea !!

I think you are right in saying though that we will all learn from each other.

I'll be only too happy to help if I can, happy beading,  Lyn x
