Does anyone use Stumble Upon? I see they insist on downloading their own tool bar, and I'm hesitant to do that.

Does anyone know anything about this, and if it's safe?

Thanks!

What would be the use of another toolbar? Is it for the Search? If so do you  know that using Google while on the Hill helps to support the Hill? Google has it's own tool bar and IE has a tool bar I don't even use all of their features. I am sure that some one will have an answer. Suzan

But what a fine spirit will mark Christ’s rule! “Come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down,” said Jesus, “and I will refresh you. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am mild-tempered and lowly in heart, and you will find refreshment for your souls. For my yoke is kindly and my load is light.”—Matt. 11:28-30.

Hi Suzan,

Thanks for answering. Their toolbar has something to do with their site. Like if you are on a certain page and you like it, you click a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" if you don't. That click sends it back to their site to let other folks know if you've found an interesting, or boring, site. It's a way of voting, I guess. If enough people are interested, they then come over themselves and read whatever the page says. It's something like that. but just the fact of it being a toolbar gives me the willies...

I have the toolbar..haven't had any problems with it....I just right click on the top to bring it into view when I want to use it..otherwise leave it hidden.
