I am a Christian and Jesus is the Lord of my life. As for me and my house, we serve the Lord.
I am 68 years old, happily married and have 10 children. (NO, I didn't birth all of them.) lol After retiring we adopted a baby boy (Jacob) who is now 12 years old. We have 26 grand children and 4 great-grand children (so far) I'm a true Aquarian, loyal, compassionate and I love helping others. I love people, kids and animals and I love nature. We have two dogs, Maggi and Cassi, and a cat named Ameigo (Jacob's friend). Was born and raised in Indiana, but have lived in California, Washington and Nebraska. I would love to go to the Holy Land. I love winter, Spring and Fall. Indiana summers can be too high in humidity, yucky! I am an Anerican and will take a stand to protect my freedom in America. I am a christian and I'm not afarid to die for my belief in Jesus Christ if need be.
I have been a Sunday School Teacher, Church Newspaper Editor, Private Detective, Photographer for "American Photography Magazine", and a lot of other things I wish I could still do. (GOD IS GOOD...ISN'T HE?)
COLOR:
THE RAINBOW! It has all the shades of my purples, greens and blues.
FOOD:
Anything Italian or Mexican. Really though I like just about any kind. Set food in front of me and I am happy, just leave out the spinach, squash and okra!
READING:
My Bible, Autobiographys, Christian books, Craft books, self-help books and many others. I just finished "Secrets Of The Vine" and a few books by Dr.Jerry Grillo. He has many christian books. Almost finished "90 Minutes In Heaven" What an awesome book, a true story.
MOVIES:
"Touched by an Angel" I know it isn't a movie, but I loved it. "One Night Wth The King" "The Robe" "Out Of Africa" "Field Of Dreams", "Left Behind" "Passion Of The Christ" " Little House On The Prairie" and anything that is fit for the whole family.
HOBBIES:
Photography, fishing, scrapbooking, gardening, reading, kids, crafts, football (go Irish). Drawing, writing poetry, collecting birds and bird houses (for my kitchen) and (angels for my bathroom.)
THINGS I LIKE:
Walking in a forest or woods where it is quite, on a beach at night or on my deck as the sun is coming up, the sound of the wind, I love hearing all our frogs croak in our pond at night and our many windchimes. I love my hubbys arms around me and our family group hugs, having all the kids over at once, my 26 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children. I like honesty, happy people, my church family, listening to my music. I like a good storm with lightening and the sound of thunder, I love to cradle babies in my arms, I like cooler weather and I love my church at "His Place Worship Center", in Elkhart, Indiana. Sometimes it is so refreshing to just be still and listen to the quite. Try it, it is awesome!
THINGS I DON"T LIKE:
Rude and pushy people, those that insult others, people who have no respect for the handicapped or elderly. HOT, HUMID Indiana summers, people who are phoney and lie to me. Spinach,spiders or squash!!! Those who are phony and I really don't like abusive parents. grrrrr and I WILL NOT tolerate anyone making a mockery of Jesus Christ in my presence. Read between the lines on his back and you'll know why!
