ABOUT ME:
I am a christian and as for me and my house we serve the Lord!
I am 68, married to the most wonderful man in the world. We have 10 wonderful children between us, 26 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children. Long after we retired, we adopted Jacob at birth. We love kids. I am a very sensitive person but not easily offended. I have my opinion but also have an open mind and will always listen to yours. I am a very faithful person and a true Aquairian, I love people and I am an animal lover. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat.
READING:
My Bible, Autobiographys, Christian books, Craft books, self-help books and many others. I just finished "Secrets Of The Vine" and a few books by Dr.Jerry Grillo. He has many christian books. Almost finished "90 Minutes In Heaven" What an awesome book, a true story.
MOVIES:
"Touched by an Angel" I know it isn't a movie, but I loved it. "One Night With The King" "The Robe" "Out Of Africa" "Field Of Dreams", "Left Behind" "Passion Of The Christ" " Little House On The Prairie" and anything that is fit for the whole family.
HOBBIES:
Photography, fishing, scrapbooking, gardening, reading, kids, crafts, football (go Irish). Drawing, writing poetry, collecting birds and bird houses (for my kitchen) and (angels for my bathroom.)
THINGS I LIKE:
I love the HILL and everyone of my friends here. Walking in a forest or woods where it is quiet, on a beach at night or on my deck as the sun is coming up, the sound of the wind, I love hearing all our frogs croak in our pond at night and our many wind chimes. I love the winter and walking in the new fallen snow, building snowmen and making angels with Jacob and our dogs. I love my hubby's arms around me and our wonderful family group hugs, having all the kids over at once, I like honesty, happy people, my church family, listening to my music. I like a good storm with lightening and the sound of thunder and a gentle rain, I love to cradle babies in my arms, I like cooler weather and I love my church at "His Place Worship Center", in Elkhart, Indiana. I love the quiet also, it is awesome when it is quiet enough to hear Gods voice!
THINGS I DON'T LIKE:
Rude, pushy people, those who insult others, who have no respect for the handicapped or elderly. HOT, HUMID weather, people who are phoney and lie to me. Spinach, spiders and squash oh and oakra!!! I don't like abusive people, mostly parents. grrrrr and I WILL NOT tolerate anyone making a mockery of Jesus Christ in my presence.
