PAVLOVA RECIPE
Ingredients
5 egg whites
1¼ cups caster sugar
1½ teaspoons vanilla
1½ teaspoons white vinegar
1½ tablespoons cornflour
Pinch salt
Method
1. Preheat oven to 120°C.
2. Beat eggs whites until stiff.
3. Add caster sugar slowly and then salt.
4. Beat for a further 5 minutes until thick, stiff peaks form.
5. Beat in vanilla and vinegar, then fold in cornflour.
6. Spoon mixture onto a baking paper covered tray, shape into a 20 cm circle and pile high.
7. Preheat oven on 120 C and bake on 100 C, let cool in the oven with door ajar.
