I adore going to the movies. I like foreign films, especially French and Italian films, enjoy drama, chick flicks, English humour and Australian films. I don't like being terrified, and would never go to a horror film or one that I knew contained lots of violence, especially domestic violence.

I like most middle-of-the-road music, meaning no rap or heavy metal at one end of the spectrum, or obscure classical music and opera at the other end. I also like some French singers, such as Françoise Hardy. I like to listen to music all day, except for when I have to concentrate on reading really boring stuff, such as insurance/legal documents.

I love to read and will read almost anything. My interests at the moment seem to be travel stories and books written by authors who were born outside the countries in which they are living (or are children of immigrants) and who write of their experiences in a new country. I recently finished "Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures" by Vincent Lam, which was a great read, and "Llamas and Empanadas" by Eleanor Meecham, who is a New Zealander who rode a push bike 5,000 km in South America.

Pink, closely followed by red and black. I like most colours except for orange and colours with warm tones, such as brick red as opposed to fire engine red.

I like lots of different foods but I couldn't survive without coffee, so coffee it is. I like fruit and vegetables (healthy) but also love chocolate and ice cream which aren't healthy. However, I have read that chocolate is a vegetable!! I love Indian and Italian food.

I was born in Fiji. My father and his parents were also born in Fiji and came from English, Irish and New Zealand stock. My mother is Australian born. I have three sisters who are now living in Melbourne, Australia with their families. My mother lives with one of my sisters.
I have been married to John for 37 years and we have two sons. Mark is 30 and married to Maggie, and Shaun is 26 and has a girlfriend called Ai Wei. John, Mark and I work in our own business which works in promotion, representation and consulting to the fruit and vegetable industry. I am the finance arm of the business. We have a home office, which has its good and bad points.

I like walking, pilates and tolerate spin classes at the gym. I love drinking coffee and chatting with friends in cafes. Reading and going to the movies are up there with my favourite things, and I enjoy travelling.

I am enjoying learning French again, and would love to live in France for 6-12 months.

I don't like loud, argumentative people. I dislike all forms of football and any sport shown on TV is just a waste of time, in my opinion.
