I have enjoyed most of the movies I have seen, but still love to view old movies occasionally.

Once again, I have a wide variety of music that I like. About the only music I don't enjoy would have to be heavy metal. I like mostly rock'n'roll (just that age), country, R&B, etc etc.

I am quite a bookworm and enjoy a wide range of subjects, though nothing too heavy.

Have a good selection of special colors, but purple would have to be my most favourite as you can see by my page.

My favourite food would have to be anything I don't have to cook myself. I worked in a Sizzler restaurant for 17 years (seven of them as a 2nd assistant manager) so have had enough of preparing food to last a lifetime.
I enjoy nice fresh fish, Chinese and Thai foods, and of course, a beautiful roast pork, yummmmm!

I was born in a little town called Napier which is in the Hawkes Bay area on the East Coast of New Zealand. Got married for the first time, had one child, a daughter (Maree)and eventually we moved to Auckland. My daughter decided to move to the Sunshine Coast of Australia and decided she was never going back to New Zealand, so after 2 years of being away from her, I decided to join her. I spent 18 years on the Sunshine Coast, where I also spent that time working for Sizzler Restaurant. Four years ago, Maree moved up to Cairns and after the disintegration of my second marriage I moved up here too and am the happiest I have been for years. It has been the best move I have ever made. I left Sizzler earlier this year and now work as an Administrator and love it, especially for the fact that I no longer have to work shift work and I get more weekends off.

I like to meet people, have a good old chat, have the occasional whinge (lol) and always enjoy a nice meal out. I have a lovely little dog and if you look at my pages, you will see some pictures of her, and she is great company and we go a lot of places together. I have named her George as that was the nickname my father gave me years ago.
I also enjoy looking through other members pages to see what they have done.

I don't like people telling me what to do, think etc.
