I am a secretary at a legal aid office. My children and granddaughter now live nearby and I am enjoying my empty nest. Love watching my 5-year-old granddaughter growing and blossoming; I can relax a bit more and just enjoy her. I lost my mother, my father and my stepfather. This is my goodbye to my dad. Till we meet again.

So very tired of fighting this battle
Your spirit trudging onward
Stubbornly refusing to give in to the pain and despair
Your loved ones gathered round your bed
Feeling your agony as if it were our own
Unable to relieve your suffering
Yet wanting to hold onto your spirit for just one more moment

Life without you is unimaginable

It is your last great battle to be fought
You who have fought so many battles in your life
Never laying down the banner
Even now

This is not the end
No, this is a beginning
The beginning of the next great adventure
In a world we cannot yet see or even fathom

Those who choose money and material things over people. People who judge without knowledge or wisdom. Those who deliberately hurt others, especially children. And most of all, people who try to use Jesus (who loved the whole world enough to sacrifice Himself for it) as a tool to spread anger and hatred toward other people. Jesus loves every single person on this earth, and I believe that we should try to live and show that love every day.
