We just go to one a year the last being Les Miz which I absolutely loved. However I have OWN on my TV so I am watching wonderful movies that I had never seen. When I was a child movies were 16 cents For that we saw 2 movies, cartoons, world news and coming attractions. It's hard to pay $8.00 for a movie after that.

Looks like I just lost my playlist that had 100+ songs on it. I will look around and see what else I can find. I love music and use it for exercise and gardening all the time. My MP3 player is one of my favorite things with over 150 songs on it so far from Gospel, Spiritual, Fifties and Classic Country and Danny O'Donnell.

Love love love my Kindle. Just got it the end of November 2011 after having attempted to read a library book by Taylor Caldwell. The font was so small that even though I loved the story I had to put it down.As of today I have over 200 free books on it. When a library book comes in I read it first as it will disappear in 21 days. The best part is that to return a Library book I go to Amazon.com. For some reason that was not what I expected. I used to read a book in 3 weeks I am now reading 3 to 4 a week.

I am not a pastel person I'm afraid and my favorite colors are red and powder blue. For some reason unknown to me bright colors cheer me up. Probably one reason why I love flower gardening.

The only think I HATE is okra and wings I guess. I love food and always have I just cannot eat as much as I would like or I would be a wide as I am tall and I am only 4'10"at this point.My all time favorite is a Heath Bar Blizzard and I have once a year on my anniversary.

Not Twittering but I do like Facebook and I am active there and hooked on Lexalus and Bejewelled Blitz. I happen to like the new Timeline too and Facebook is no different then any other site I have to use common sense and not click on everything.

 Here she is my contact on NOTH and she lives in New Zealand and was one of the first friends I met here. She is a good woman and it has been entertaining for both of us to learn how the other lives. When I am too hot during the Summer she is cold and in her Winter which is way milder then ours. She lives in the tropical part of New Zealand   |
I used to post a Bulletin on Sundays but it was time for a change so I do try to post comments a few times a week. I know some people post twice a day but not this girl.:) I like it when people use their picture on their profile so I can put a face to the message but it gets confusing when they turn to pumpkins in October and Christmas ornaments in December, hearts in February etc.

I am in my 70's and have decided the 60's were a piece of cake compared the the 70's but I thank God every morning that I am still reasonably healthy as is my best friend of 54 years.I was born and raised in Rhode Island and my mother died of breast cancer when we were 3 6 9 and 12. I was the 6 year old and my oldest sister had to assume a ton of responsibility. She has died as well as my youngest sister who died of lung cancer in May of 2008. I still have my sister Claudette in N.Y.I met Bill when he was stationed in R.I.in the Navy and I was a senior in high school it was love at first site for both of us. We set my sister up on a blind date with his friend and we ended up having a double wedding 2 years later. They too are still going strong.

I love God family and friends and I don't know how one would get through life without that. I am also active in AlAnon and have been active there since 88. Would no more think of missing my meeting then I would of not brushing my teeth it keeps me sane. I like being respected and not questioned about my beliefs.I like upbeat people that see the glass as half full on most days.

I don't like people trying to impose their morality on others or telling me how to think and feel and gossipers. I don't need to hear all this since I am not into drama at this stage of my life.Dislike getting forwards that people don't bother to clean up. I don't like people who talk on their cell phones all the time or text when they are obviously not able to multi task and drive at the same time.,/

I love flower gardening but it's getting a bit hard to kneel and get back up and down a lot. Last Fall I replaced flowers with some tall grasses so time will tell if that will be easier to maintain.Therse flowers were taken from both houses we have lived in the last 55 years.
