He was my best friend and we had 39 wonderful yrs together.

Well, as of the 23 July my husband has been gone for a year and it has been a long year. But as we all know time marches on whether we want it to or not. There have been changes that I have had to make in my life. Have learned to do things by myself. Where my husband always did the driving now I am doing it myself. Driving places that I have never driven to before. New experiences have opened up for me. I am volunteering for different things. I sing in a choir that sings at nursing homes. I belong to a midnight garden club. I help out at Trinity Farm which helps out young people. I is beautiful what this place does for their clients. So I have been forced to have make changes in my life. They have been slow in coming but come they have. I carry my husband in my heart always.

I love to walk in soft rain. It smells so fresh. Sitting back and hearing people cut grass is something I like to do because that means that I am going to get to smell freshly mowed grass which to me is a fragrance that smells very good. There are two nursing homes where I live and I like to go and visit the people there. They are very sweet. I love meeting new people. Each person that I meet new is another flower in my garden of friends and they are treasured in my heart.
Then I also just go crazy over unicorns, pegasus and of course horses. I just love them.

I love being on the computer and hitting the internet at a run. I never know where I am going to land. So surfing is one of the hobbies I like the best.
I love to read so that is another hobby that I enjoy doing.
I am a collecter of porcelain dolls and stuffed animals. I have a nice collection of both.
