I'm not a movie person. I do watch the old westerns with my husband and occasionally a funny movie.

Though I'm almost 65 I have a weird taste in music, my husband says. I love the oldies, smooth jazz, and heavy metal. My youngest son has always been a metal head and after listening to some of his cd's I found quite a few I really like. I am a big fan of Transiberian Orchestra, in fact just saw their Beethoven's Last Night concert in Asheville, NC. Fantastic! My favorite band is from Finland and are called Nightwish.

I never read much until 2 years ago when I started reading the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind and am now reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. I absolutely love these books and have my nose in one off and on all day.

It's funny how your preferences change as you get older. Blue was always my color and though I still like blue I love bright red, purples and pink. I'm drawn to bright, gawdy material, some would call it, but the bolder, the happier it makes me.

Boy this is a hard question! I love my husband's pulled pork, and grilled steak. Most sweets, fresh baked bread, any kind of pasta.

I'm a wife to my husband Jim of over 45 years, mother to 3 grown sons, I have one wonderful daughter-in-law who has given me my two grandsons. When my husband retired from the phosphate mine in 98, I quit my job with a wholesale company where I had worked for 13 years. We sold our big house and moved to our little place in NC for summers and spend winters in our motorhome at our sons in Florida and now spend alot of time in our motorhome on Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee, Ga during the summer.

I love my family, my old cocker, Maxie, my unloving love bird, Peaches and our newest member Wuzzy which is a Papitese. She is part papillon and maltese and a ball of fur. I love nights out with my husband. We are both sport nuts and enjoy fun times at sports bars. Enjoy my me time just looking around in cute shops and getting ideas. I enjoy decorating my house, motorhome and yards and of course I love my blingy jewelry. It isn't expensive but I so enjoy wearing flashy things. Oh yes I LOVE sunflowers!

I enjoy crocheting, knitting, sewing and trying new crafts. I have so many I've started and for some reason haven't finished. Finding wonderful bargains at thrift stores.
