Hello Dearlyn. I hope this finds you well, snug and warm!  I would gladly send you some of our heat today - if only I could.  This morning even before sunrise, it was alread 23C.   It is so hot here today, and the humidity level so high that the weather bureau has put out a warning that humidity levels are dangerously high and could prove fatal to the unwary!  All school sport at the school was cancelled for this afternoon, and honestly, after break, trying to teach the kids was simply wasted effort.  Most of us hardly even tried and all we were able to do, was keep the kids hydrated, and keep them from breaking the place down.  So there you have it, the two extremes with one of us at each end! The bureau did promise a little relief tonight, in the form of scattered thunderstorms.  But, nothing lasts forever, as they say, and pretty soon the tables will be turned and I shall be freezing down here while you swelter up in the north!

Greetings!  I am dropping in early so that I don't miss sending Valentine greetings to anyone.  Staying so busy here that the days are flying by.  Almost thru with my "spring" cleaning and getting ready for a big spring yard sale.  Where does all of this stuff come from?  Still beading, working on Easter stuff right now!  It will be here in the blink of an eye!  Weather here is still cold!  Ready for the warm weather to come!  I hate winter!  Friday was miserable with rain allllllll day long!  Shouldn't complain, it wasn't snow!  Have a wonderful week, my friend!  Wishing you peace, love and lots of chocolate this Valentine's Day!  Hugs, April

Hello Lyn my friend, how have you been keeping??? I am worried that you might be getting a lot of snow in the U.K.?  I didn't hear correctly from the TV but some area is going to get it quite bad, to be the worst snow falls in 100 years, the shelves are being emptied of all groceries already.... brrrrr...  Well it is still raining here.. I love it.. sure hope it is to be the pattern now for the rest of February, then March will be a bit cooler... we have big gusty cold winds out there.. it is so creepy all these noises... sounds like winter in the U.K.  haha...    I found those little kitties above on the net.. and thought they'd like to visit us on the Hill.. they must be all very well behaved to sit like that.  Well dear one, will go for now.. big hugs and enjoy your Weekend, love Marlene xxx
