It was in this hospital that I worked up until my retirement on 2007. I worked in all areas except theatre.

ABOUT ME
Hi there ....My name is Maureen and I have been retired now for 4 years from a career in nursing that spanned 44 years.
I am married to a wonderful man called Denis. We have married for 43 years and we were blessed with three lovely children. Our eldest son Steven passed on after complications with Leukemia in 2001 at the age of 31 years..We have a daughter Sherilyn and a son Brendon.
We live in Whyalla South Australia.....Whyalla is a steel town with steel being our main industry. We are also very lucky to be on the coast and therefore the seaside is at our door.
Since our retirement we have been kept quite busy with our pastoral care work at our local church.

I must admit I do not like spiders or snakes.....In OZ we have the Funnel Web Spider and the Death Adder snake....These are two of God's creatures I can do without.
