Always admired Elvis for his singing and showmanship on stage.Grew up on Beatles and Rolling Stones also,enjoy the simplicity of ABBA and driving to easy listening instrumentals.

Fiction:-Read a few Clive Cussler,Dan Brown,Wilbur smith,Matthew Reilly and like to go back over the simpler stories written in the 20s and 30s,when life obviously was so much simpler too.
Factual:-Historical,be it social lifestyles,architecture,inventions,and especially old catalogues.

Yellow,though the flow of autumn tones is nice,as is also warm reds of an open fire.I guess blue also,in its various shades (not light0 as most of my gear seems to be around this colour.

Feed the Man meat,what can I say.A good traditional lamb roast with baked pumpkin and potatoes,perfect for this climate (we're 3000' up here),followed by apple pie and cream (I wish!).In reality now it comes down to crumbed cutlets and homemade scones with jam and cream (devonshire tea for those who know the term).I enjoy cooking though don't experiment now as much as I used to,who said you could rest in your retirement!

Married with 3 children,1 daughter,22,living in Melbourne,eldest son,27,living in the house next door,with our other son,24,living at home still.Grew up in Sydney but moved out of the rat race in 1984 to a place with a bigger backyard!Did various studies and jobs early on (don't we all) but settled down finally to do mental retardation and psychiatric nursing from 1976.Ran the local institution's day activity centre from 1993 till retiring 2 years ago.

Unpretentious people,relaxing and looking at the rain through the window,or even walking in it,as long as I'm dry!Of course that smell of fresh bread,a roast in the oven,apple pie and cream (the type that Mum used to make) and Belgian chocolate!Even the delight of walking in the occassional snow fall.

Movies,as long as they're entertaining,even slightly mindless ones,not tearjerkers.Reading,advancing my general knowledge base (if that's possible),travelling,driving this great country,car restoration.I have a separate shed (of course,every bloke needs a shed)to be able to continue pottery and leadlighting and numerous other crafts I've had a go at when I was working.
