Lord of the Rings, Twilight series, any movies of Jane Austen's books. No violence at all. More gentle movies - and then I go and love LOTR! Maybe I can cope with that because I read the books so many times....

I like music according to my moods. 1812 Overture was a favourite when I was upset when younger. Some country music. Queen, Pink Floyd from my younger years. The daughters get me listening to some of the modern pop, such as Pink. It all depends on the mood.

I used to read a lot, but have slowed down now. I like some biographies but mainly fiction. Pride and Prejudice of course and Lord of the Rings. I also enjoy books written by Isaac Asimov,some Arthur C Clarke, Anne McCaffrey and Stephanie Meyer.
I've just bought an ebook reader and am having fun reading some of the old favourites such as The Little Women series, and Anne of Green Gables series.

My favourite colour is green in all of it's many shades from the deepest black green right through to the softest aqua. I also love all of the purple shades.

Not really interested in Twitter, though I do have a Facebook page to keep up with the doings of the grandchildren.

I'm a retired l teacher. I taught for over 30 years. I have twin daughters and seven grandchildren, some of whom are off and away.
I prefer a quiet life now.
My mother is still alive at 100, living in a nursing home.

My daughters and grandchildren, my 2 long haired Chihuahuas. Being alive and able to make my own choices. Playing with computers, reading, my little caravan and short trips away..

People who are cruel or thoughtless to other people and animals. Inconsideration and selfishness.
