CANADA - FROM SEA TO SEA
I was born in Nova Scotia. I'm the second eldest of seven siblings. In my younger years, I was an elementary school teacher. I taught in Nova Scotia and Quebec before going overseas to teach the children of Canadian Air Force personnel at schools on one of the Canadian Military bases in Europe. After two years, I met my future husband who was serving in the RCAF at the base in Metz, France. After our wedding, in Nova Scotia, we returned to France and later moved to the base at Lahr, Germany where our daughter was born.
Neil was born in British Columbia. He joined the RCAF at age 17 and had a few postings before being sent to Metz in 1966. After we left Germany in 1968, Neil's transfers took us to Alberta, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Manitoba and Ontario. He retired here in Trenton, Ontario around 1995. We have been married for 44 years. Our daughter, Stacey, who lives nearby, has been married for 21 years. She and her husband have no children.

Socializing with family and friends; sequence ballroom dancing; playing my clarinet; working in my garden: spending time on my computer; spring blossoms; summer flowers; fall colours; new fallen snow; beautiful scenery; lovely melodies.
