New Christmas Page -- from Designing Girl's website: www.designing-girl.blogspot.com

This design is from the 2004 film "THE POLAR EXPRESS" -- if you haven't seen it, treat yourself this Christmas!! It is a modern Christmas classic!!! Love this film!!!

Left the "How-To" below, in case someone hasn't seen it yet.

HOW-TO:
For anyone wondering how I made my glittery headline (in case you don't)... here's how:
1--Go to dazzlejunction.com
2--Select "Glitter Text Generator"
3--Follow the 3 steps listed
(They have plenty of fonts to choose from, and a bunch of glitter colors and designs)
4--Right-click and copy to your computer.

6--Hit "Browse" on TinyPic, select the pic from your computer, then copy the html code and...
7--Paste the code into your "Headline" box at the top of your "settings" page -- and save.

And VOILA! A fancy new heading!!

P.S. -- If you have a saying or quote underneath the new logo (like I do) don't forget to SPACE BETWEEN the two. Otherwise they stick together.

FIRE WORKS

Besides everything already mentioned? Visiting with friends, writing to friends (via email mostly -- does anybody write letters anymore?), dining out, waiting for movies to come out on DVD since the theater is so expensive anymore, listening to great music, playing great music (or maybe I should say TRYING to play great music!), and just generally staying relaxed and at peace with the universe... which ain't easy sometimes, because of...

Lying politicians, evil corporations, high prices, high taxes, global warming, religious zealotry, bigotry, intolerance, man's inhumanity to man. Oh, and reality shows on television!! I mean, we LIVE in reality... TV is supposed to be escapism, a fantasy world we can visit to forget our troubles and the unpleasantness of the world... like lying politicians, evil corporations, high prices, high taxes, global warming, religious zealotry, bigotry, intolerance, and man's inhumanity to man!!

itchy and scratchy
Not to mention mouse's inhumanity to cat.
(Or is that "inhu-mouse-ity"?)

Wait a minute!... didn't I just list all this stuff?... Okay, one more time: Music, movies, TV, stand-up comedy, reading, writing, playing guitar, gardening, taking it easy...

And not stressing about stuff... you live longer!!

So take a deep breath... let it out slowly... and... relaaaaaaax... you're feeling completely relaxed... totally at ease... and perfectly comfortable... aaaaaaahhh...

I've had one more hobby for a while now... saving humorous pictures and jokes from Facebook... they used to be on my old page (until the Photobucket Phiasco), so I thought, why not just add them to my gallery (below). So here we go... I'll try to add 2 new ones a couple times per week (since the page only shows 2 at a time). Enjoy -- and copy the ones you like! (I did!)

Also learned that if you tap on the photo, it will enlarge. Very useful if there's text in the picture! (Tap the "Profile" button at top to return to main page.)

Hi Peter, hope you are enjoying the beginning of your vacation.  Brisk again here but nice and sunny and good weather for this Jersey gal.  Waiting for the cake to cool so I can ice it and take it into the club so we will have dessert after a taco pie for dinner.

Get things done today - shopping, wrapping, decorating or whatever - have fun whatever you do.

It's a gorgeous Thursday for me and I intend to get much done today....as soon as I get off the computer, that is. LOL Saturday, we are going to visit Dave's mom. And Dave's brother and sister in law. We are taking a couple pounds of bbq for sandwiches and will enjoy a nice afternoon, I'm sure. Two of our girls are going with and one of our grandsons, too. It's a two hour drive up and the weather is supposed to be nice! Enjoy your day....Friday's almost here, Peter.
