Country Girl Loves Country Music

I`m one that does not like to read that often. If I ever find a book that really grabs me right at the first then I well read it.

Bright Pinks and Blue but really all the rainbow colors.

Since I am a throat cancer survivor there are not many things that I can eat now. I am still able to eat those pan fried potatoes with jacket on them and white gravy an deer venison. No spicy foods any more.

I am Cherokee Indian, was born at Claremore, OK.and raised in Sallisaw, OK. by my adopted parents and they lived in the country.I was told by my parents that I was adopted at a early age. I always felt blessed for being adopted.

I have 50 yrs. of marriage to a wonderful man. We have 2 boys which are 48 and 46.The boys have given us 4 grandson`s and 1 granddaughter, and 1 great grandson.Ages or 28-18-16-14-12-4. My granddaughter was born on my birthday.

I graduated 1962 from Sallisaw High School. I attended Northeastern State but never got my degree. My plans were to become a Veterinarin but things did not work out. I worked at many different jobs but if there was a sewing factory around that is where I worked. My work history was very colorfull.

Living in the country.Having my husband still beside me every day after 50 yrs. All types of farm animals and dogs of all kinds.I`m just a old country girl. Riding horses was a favorite of mine while growing up and did barrel racing, did Trick Riding in my younger years for fun and some at Rodeo`s.

I was also in 4-H and stayed busy with my many different projects in which to show at the County Fair.I entered my chickens, rabitts, and my calf.I really did love being in 4-H where you met many new friends from other schools.

Love our 2 labs,Jake is a black Lab male of 5 and he loves riding the 4-wheelers,he just loves to go.The other is Daisy a white 1yr.old female that was a stray and adopted us just 2 months ago now.She is smart and willing to learn. If it didnt cost so much I would have all the hurt and homeless animals in this area. The other dog is a 1/2 breed Blue healer/min. collie female named Sadie and she is 5 also.

My husband (JIM) and I love to ride the 4-wheelers with all the grandkids and take them fishing and hunting. We just love sharing time with them. They grow up to fast.

Crulety to animals or children.

Oh, Poney1, How horrid about the Tornado!

I just watched a video of the devestation, and listened to a few people they interviewed.. My tears were flowing.  I just cannot imagine the horror of it all.. What will everyone do?  I wish I could bring people here.  I am so sad for everyone... I hurt for you all.  No matter what, everyone will suffer from the devestation.  I pray you are okay.. I so pray with all my heart.

I keep crying everytime I see the video of the few interviewed.. They have nothing..nothing.. No where to go, nothing to eat, just the clothes on their back.. No transportation... nothing.. I am so hurt and sad for all.  It could happen to any of us anywhere.

My city is collecting donations to sent their way.. We always try to help our neighbours in need (USA). It just breaks my heart...

I don't know where you live in proximity to the areas torn apart by that horrific tornado yet I know you are torn too.

Sunny.... (and I am not smiling at the moment..too sad to smile..)
