It's still fun to go to the movies! A senior matinee is pretty cheap so I go when there is something that I don't want to wait for the DVD release. Like "Avatar" in 3D, Beautiful!

Of course, being my age, I love the oldies, However a good song from any era will please me. I like the words to be clear, and especially for it to be melodic, (danceable).

I just love to read! Taylor Caldwell, Leon Uris, Edna Ferber, they were such great authors, but now I just want something light and fun. No historical Epics like "East of Eden", or "Trinity" anymore. There was a time for that, and I loved them, but now a fantasy will do or a Gothic romance, (no descriptive sex please, imagination is better).

I am liking many colors now, not just a few favs. Dark rose, and rose red was my fav for many yrs, but lately the shades of pink are pleasing me more and more. Funny, 'cause that was my fav for a few yrs in high school. A blouse in a nice pink just makes me feel good!

Well, can't have chocolate anymore because of the caffeine, so liking ice cream more and more. Pasta is still the best, any way it is served!

My lawn has gotten really overgrown, so hired a helper, Just want him to help cut back the wild vines and baby trees, and maybe take down an old fence. Shure would be nice if it looked like it did when hubby was still here.

My guy has been gone for almost 11 yrs now. Was told last week that my corneas are diseased and I will need to have corneal transplants. I am scared. :( Wish he was here. I

Don't like hot peppers, or things too spicy. Hate horror movies or shows, and really dislike people that are uncaring with animals, or treat them like objects, or treat them badly. Haters that spew hatred all over the internet, etc!

Reading, crocheting,watching TV. writing poetry, cooking, and playing with and caring for my pets. walking around the yard and smelling flowers.
