Forty -six years ago I went skating at the rink in Truro, Nova Scotia. I was a student at the Nova Scotia Teachers College and there was skating for the students that day. Ah...it is Friday and I am sooo glad.  I only have two sets of books and some income taxes to get ready over the weekend.   Not too bad.  It is snowing again.  that is nuts. But on the other hand..I have an interesting knitting project to finish and a pizza to eat and so it is all good.  God is so good to me. I am thankful for all that He does in my life and all He has given me .  And I have a mocha beside me and what could be better.

Well, he finally went and did it! My son, after almost two semesters of college, decided that he would rather be a US Marine! After all of these weeks in boot camp he is almost there. On April 11th my son, my littlest of all, will truly have become a man in every sense of the word. Can't hardly wait to see him and how he has grown though it is a bit hard to realize that he will not come home for five years, nor will he be my "baby" any longer. Good Morning! This has been my first chance to get back here in a few days. Good to be here. My apologies to all my friends for not getting by for visits. Yours truly is still on dial up.
