I was just listening to the song "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M. Basically it says everybody has bad happening and hurting happening sometimes. It goes on to say Hold On. So many people have a hard time getting through the holiday season. They may be alone or separated from family and loved ones. They may have lost a loved one during the holiday season. I received the following in an email and thought it was a beautiful story and worth sharing. I was at the corner grocery store buying some early potatoes. I noticed a small boy, delicate of bone and feature, ragged but clean, hungrily apprizing a basket of freshly picked green peas. I paid for my potatoes, but was also drawn to the display of fresh green peas.

THIS IS FABULOUS!!!

It was written by an 8-year-old named Danny Dutton, who lives in Chula Vista , CA He wrote it for his third grade homework assignment, to 'explain God.' I wonder if any of us could have done as well.
