Bayberry Candle Legend
Posted On 11/15/2010 10:27:33 by TouchedPainter
Authentic Bayberry Candle, Poem and Legend     Legend of the Bayberry Candle Poem
This bayberry candle comes from a friend,
so on Christmas eve burn it down to the end.
For a bayberry candle burned to the socket,
will bring joy to the heart and gold to the pocket. I saw a poll about the Bayberry Candle, I was born in Boston & spent a lot of time at relatives on the Cape (Cod), practically raised there. So I have blindly practiced the Bayberry legend, but the po... Read More

The Goldfish
Posted On 04/06/2010 10:25:40 by pollym
British Health and Safety   On the news recently is a true story which is almost unbelievable! A lady proprietor of a pet shop in Manchester was approached by a tall girl in a hoody who asked to purchase a goldfish. The lady obligingly sold her the goldfish she wanted and the girl left the shop. There followed a court... Read More

White Christmas

Haven't had a lot of time to write on TheHill of late but have not thought any less about you all ~ the 'slow down' started when the computer developed a damaged fan in the video card and had to be replaced under warranty.  They said two weeks and gave us a brand new part to keep us going until a new one of our own standard was ordered in.  That was almost six weeks ago already!  The computer is working okay but a couple of programs are not so happy so I've not been able to d... Good-Bye Michael Jackson
Posted On 07/07/2009 23:28:54 by Roselynn
I watched the Michael Jackson funeral today. it was a beautiful service and not quiet what I had expected. I cried even though I was never a big fan. I cried for the children that are going to have to grow up without the only parent they really know. I also cried thinking about how the press is going to try to destroy these kids by ripping their father to pieces. I say let the dead rest. These kids are going to have it rough enough...leave them alone. But they will not. I lost all respect for... Read More
