My First Day in Cuenca, Ecuador

Phew....what a day. I'll not advise about my first day flying originally from Cleveland, Ohio to Atlanta, Atlanta to Miami and finally into Quito, Ecuador, where I stayed the night at The Travellers Inn. We are on our annual trek from Western Canada to Arizona but in a round-about way, including a beautiful drive through the Canadian Rocky Mountains, then after a visit with our grandson, down to Vegas then on to Arizona. Normally when I travel it's to exotic locations and starting back in 2004 I began to share my travel adventures and photos with friends via email, and later in blogs. We are within a month of departing for our next ministry trip. We will be going to Siberia this time. Guess I really need to chill out.Very busy getting the visas and tickets to go. Terrible prices for them now. Almost double what it was the last time. Will be gone for 5 months.First we will go tot he Europe Teen Challenge Conference in Gdansk Poland and then to Slovakia for a short time. May 2 we leave to go to Siberia.
