Due Date
Posted On 09/01/2014 15:33:01

So many of us have something with a due date right?

My thoughts on due date is something is due on that date. Right?

Well I have been talking with many over the years and what due date means to each person.

I was suprised of what I heard...

1. Due date is the date I pay it on... That date!

2. Due date is the date that I pay on!

3. Due date is it must be there prior to the due date...

4. So I asked you what does a due date mean???

Quiet Holiday
Posted On 09/01/2014 10:23:17

Thank goodness, a quiet Labor holiday weekend. We live out into the country. We have property that is fronted and backed up to State Land. Which means many orv trails. Past holidays and weekends the trail riders would be destroying the trails racing up and down, at one point a few years ago, it was very dry and well you got it. There was a fire set due to a spark from the orv is what was told to us land owners. It burned 20 acres before they got the fire under control, the winds were high and the trails are in a pine forest ( a tinder box). I can hear the wind rusting the leaves today so peaceful, little chickadees chirping fall is here fall is here. The leaves are starting to turn reds, golds, and purples. The milk weeds are turning brown and all is about to rest for the long winter ahead. I do not see my hummingbirds anylonger they must have got there fuel to move to warmer climates last weekend.

I do hope you had a relaxing holiday too.

Where did time go
Posted On 08/24/2014 18:02:13

Wow where did the years go. I met my husband when I was 20 yrs old. We married when I was 26 years old when we married. I had our first child when I was 30 yrs old, the second child I was 32 yrs. I was thinking I have been married for 33 years... Wow that is almost half of my life I have been married... I married when I was older and I do not regret, I do feel sad as I am 59 years old and no grandchildren. And none in site. Both daughter are not in a position or life time where they plan on children... The oldest lost her husband after years of marriage and only being 25 years of age. Our youngest is having a financial crisis due to college loans and we are helping her pay for, she has been married for 3 years. Life is not fair I feel, I have sisters and brothers that have great grandchildren. I just want to be a grandma, to love and hold and hear I love you grandma...

For now I will watch the 3 year old down the street and be happy. The lord knowns when the time is right so, I will be patient and wait.

Thank you for reading me life, my time and where did it go

Do you talk to your animals?
Posted On 08/24/2014 17:48:56

I do talk to my cats.... And I do not care who likes it... If you think I am nuts.... So be it...

When I am ready for work, my cats run to their mats and mewo, they both set up and give me a high five. When I am pouring my coffee in my to go cup they are waiting by the hall door. As I leave they both get a pet and I say I love you, watch the house.... They both sound off as if to say ok mom, see you tonight. I come home I have to greeters at the hall door. So happy and talking all the way, I tell them thank you for watch the house while I was away, I missed you both. They run to their mat and sit up for their treats, I get high fives and so much lovin..

I get a big glass of water and go set down, I do not have my lap anymore as it is consumed with to furry friends. My cats make me so happy to come home, so much love.

I do not want to ever think of the day when I come home to not furry friends or have to set with a empty lap..

Thank you lord for my two cats.

A great comedian
Posted On 08/12/2014 19:32:57

As we all reflect on the moments we laughed and cried as we watched or heard Robin Williams voice. I would stop what ever I was doing if I heard his voice. My daughters were so excited to watch Mork and Mindee. My mother just loved him also. All ages watched his movies, could relate. So as I close I want to say thank you Robin for all the good times the laughter, the tears you shared with our families. May you rest in peace. I pray for your wife and children and your family as you join your maker.

So the question I have is do you reply to others when they post a comment about your blog? Or do you just read and move on to blogging again? Or do you not do anything?

My self I like to let comments be known, and appreciated. So I like to reply to the members that commment.

I would appreciate a reply on this as I always wondered.

Thank you!
