Wake up and let's get this Friday started. It is almost the weekend. And the weekend is for resting and doing little to nothing! It is the last day of May and June is about to start.
After all that we have done this past week, I do think the warranty is just about to expire on yard work and housework and picking up limbs from trimmed trees.
Rbt and I joined a new group. Have you heard of it? It might include napping daily. We have come to the realization that we can't keep up with our kids and grandchildren.
We are even having trouble keeping up with technology and all the new updates. Do you remember the way the phone used to work when you just flipped it open or just picked up the receiver and dialed the number?
There are so many distractions. We just need to stay on course and not get off track. Getting old is NOT for sissies and I just want to accomplish Jesus' "to do" list for me.
woke up by my furbaby "Cassie" standing on me at 11:30 last night, due to thunder and lightening... she was up and down, digging under covers, trying to get under the bed...etc etc...I couldn't get her comfortable to save my life..LOL! storms kept coming until almost 2 a.m. gads, I hate those night time storms...hopefully I'll be able to take a little nap later this afternoon...I hope your Wednsday will be a wonderful one.
Let your light shine this Wednesday. Yesterday afternoon was one of the most beautiful days in May. After the storms, the sun came out but the temperatures were much cooler.
How awesome to enjoy a Spring day before Summer gets a hole and takes over.
As beautiful as the day was, it was NOT a good day to go for a drive. Signal lights were still out and even some restaurants were not open because of no electricity.
However, it was a perfect day to sit on the patio and enjoy the rocking chair, especially when someone else is rocking you!
Every day do whatever it takes to find a way to let your light shine and to be happy and to share your smile with others.
Don't chase the butterflies: tend to your garden & the butterflies will come to you. (although I must say my plants have had enough rain-some sunshine please!)🦋
Tuesday is here and it is the last one for the month of May.
Spring will soon be gone officially for this year. So let's enjoy the beauty of spring in the mountains of Montana.
At noon yesterday it was 94° and felt like 100°. I think spring has come and gone. I was dripping wet by the time I got plants in the backyard water, some were very wilted.
Since school is out, it is time to head for the Beach. This looks cooler than it feels at our house.
Spring or Summer. Mountains or Beach. Sometimes you have a choice and sometimes you don't. But when you do, choose wisely!
