It's a bit chilly here but by mid week it will be warming up to my liking! That will be a good time to get outside and cut some Holly branches and do a little decorating outside.
I have enjoyed leftovers from my Thanksgiving feast at my daughters. Everything was so yummy. My daughter made a pumpkin cheese cake that was just wonderful. My grandson, Dylan helped me make the baking powder biscuits so we could have some biscuits and gravy. Such a big helper.

Happy day after Thanksgiving. Are you in a food coma today? So much good food yesterday, I'm glad we don't eat like that too often. Whew! How has your Tuesday been? Since I will be baking and cleaning house tomorrow, I may not have time to visit you. And Thursday will be Thanksgiving so I know I won't be here that day, for sure. It is a beautiful Monday at my house, Nanc. 60* and sunshine. Had to go get Jude a Christmas gift since I've ordered something for him twice now and both times it's been out of stock with no idea of when they will get them. So I changed gears and bought something else altogether. I've got just one more gift to get yet and that is a gift card so....after Thanksgiving I'll start wrapping and baking. Today I got the tree decorated. Now to wait until Thanksgiving evening to light the tree and outdoor lights! Hope your day has gone smoothly and your evening will be peaceful.

Busy weekend so far..I always enjoyed making dressing..can't have it now since I started keto diet several months ago..but might see if there is a keto friendly version of it. So far, I've lost 21 pounds (4 months)..have cut back on sweets..this is my weakness..Wishing you a wonderful time as you prepare for your Thanksgiving gathering -:)

The weekend is here. Are you ready for Thanksgiving? We have a couple of things on our schedule for next week and then on the 30th, I start working about 4 days a week in December. So please don't give up if I'm not here as much.
Are you having Pumpkin Pie or Pecan Pie or Apple Pie or some other desert for Thanksgiving? We usually get Pumpkin but this year we are getting Pecan.

It was windy here the last 2 days... but it was also in the 80's. At 3 am, the weather app on my phone said, "There is a freeze advisory until 8 am Friday morning!" WHAT?
And next month I have to work. That means driving in the dark as well as getting out in the weather. WHAT?
You have to be kidding me! I live in Texas because I like it 80° or above and not below 50° for very long. How many days until Spring?
When we moved to the DFW area 18 years ago, I had seen snow twice in my life where I lived in South Texas down near Corpus Christi. And I liked it that way... still do!
Just one more week. Are you expecting company??? We might have friends show up this Friday for the day but don't expect anyone for next week.
