Good day to you & hope all is well with you & yours. School started Thurs. with a lot of confusion & traffic. Glad I had water with me the heat index was 115 !. I was in it about 40 minutes as there was confusion in getting the kids dismissed on time . The school is full with 900 plus kids & this year having pre kinder kids of 4 & 5 year olds . Will take a bit to get leveled out.
This is being a very pleasant day. Went out for breakfast this morning with a friend which we try to do each month. Always such at treat for the both of us. I am having a wonderful cool day so soup is brewing in the slow cooker . I so do like my slow cooker and or crock pots.
Of course I am sipping on a cup of coffee. french vanilla and enjoying every drop of it as I chit chat with you. Smiles Gloria

I just love your choice of images I did kick up my heels on Friday. Haha. Mom is home as of yesterday Monday. She did not want me to stay with her. I will talk with her this morning prior to going to work. It's about to pour rain here today. So the rain coat is ready for the day! Hubby just mowed the grass so now it will get a drink. Happy weekend to you . Really hot here with temps in 100's for several more days & heat index this weekend up to 112. Too hot to get out & walk so using exercise bike for awhile. School starting next week so know it's going to be hot standing there at the school crossing but going to have plenty of water ready. Enjoy your week & take care.......George
Hello my friend, we are having another beautiful day. It is only 74 degrees. Very cool breeze blowing. The kids are swimming in the lake and I don't know how they stand it. It is too cold to be swimming. It got down to 55 degrees last night and that makes the lake very cold. Our lake has very cold springs in it and wow,, when you swim past one, it is very cold. I remember all those days when the kids were little. I loved to swim I was the first one in and the last one out. I would go swimming in September. Wow, the water would be cold.
